Tony Wrong of WrongWroks

Born in Asia, live & work in Vancouver, Canada.
Graduated from Emily Carr Instititute of Art & Design in 2004.
Started WRONGWROKS in the fall 2005.

Started by making limited silkscreen prints & t-shirts by hands in his mini studios...
created the first ever series & characters - the Doradimon wearing sneakers...

In spring 2006, interviewed and introduced by CANDY, the IRELAND based international art & design magazine and start getting attentiton from world wide web...
then invited by HIGHSNOBIETY magazine to do a tee collaboration...
in may 2006, the KATE MOS t-shirt start hitting internationally, WRKS start to hit retail store in ITALY, FRANCE, ENGLAND, JAPAN etc.

In nov 2006, WRONGWROKS full line start selling in COLETTE & SOLD OUT in France.
In the same time WRKS has invited to do an exclusive online art gallery store for the Japanese call NOISEKING.

At the end of 2006, WRONGWROKS invited to do the group exhibition "MY 2007" to celebrate COLETTE for 10 years anniversary, with worldwide artist and at the same time, featured in TOKION (Japan).

In Feb 2007, WRKS invited to do a special project with (JAY CHOW) - PHANTACI to produced a tee for the AIRFORCE ONE 25th anniversary party in Taiwan.

WRKS launched the first toy collection with BAXBEAR in Taiwan Toy Festival, and exhibit the first solo show in Taiwan and Taichong , the "MASTER-MIND" collection.
in dec 2007, WRKS did the second vinyl toy with BUKA (UK) & ADFUNTURE TOY GROUP (ASIA).

WRONGWROKS has been pressed in magazines and newspaper like TOKION (JAPAN), WAD magazine (FRANCE), TOUCH (HK), FACE (HK), BANG! (TW) VANCOUVER SUN (VAN), STRAIGHT (VAN), YAHOO TW (TW), YEN (AUS), TVBS (TW), NEW DESIGN (UK) , GRUS (NORWAY), SLAMXHYPE (New Zealand), Hypebeast, ...

Right now, WRONGWROKS has authorized retailers in Vancouver, Calgary, Hong Kong, Taiwan (5 stores), Japan (50 Stores), Korea, United Kingdom (6 stores), France, Switerzland, Berlin, Belgium, Netherland, Norway, Sweden, Italy, and some stores in the United States...
